history of Christianity

Christianity is a belief that, based on the teachings, life, passion, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ or Jesus Christ. This religion believes Jesus Christ is Lord and Messiah, the savior of all mankind, who redeemed mankind from sin. They worship at the church and their Bible is the Bible. The disciples of Jesus Christ were called Christians first in Antioch (Acts 11:26).
Christian Religion is one of the Abrahamic religions are based on the life, teachings, death by crucifixion, resurrection, and ascension into heaven of Jesus of Nazareth, as described in the New Testament, Christians believe that Jesus is the Messiah prophesied in the Old Testament (or the Book Jewish scriptures). Christianity is monotheism, which believes in three persons (technically in the Greek hypostasis) of God or the Trinity. Trinity was first confirmed at the First Council of Nicaea (325) compiled by the Roman Emperor Constantine I.
Christian religious adherents believe that Jesus Christ or Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior, and holds the teachings of Jesus Christ delivered. In Christian belief, Jesus Christ is the founder of the congregation (church) and church leadership that eternal (Matthew 18: 18-19)
Christians also believe that Jesus Christ will come at the second time as King and Judge of this world. As the Jewish religion, they uphold the moral teaching that is written in the Ten Commandments.
The disciples of Jesus Christ for the first time called Christians when they gathered at Antioch (Acts 11: 26c).
After the death of Jesus, Christian leadership forwarded based on the appointment of Peter by Jesus. After Peter died leadership followed by the bishops, led by the bishop of Rome. The second occurred between the Catholic Church with the Protestant Church in 1517 when Martin Luther protested the teaching of the Church which he considered had deviated from the truth.
Many church denominations are now aware that the divisions that were deviated from the message of Jesus who prayed for unity among his followers (see Gospel of John 17:20-21, "And not for them alone I pray, but also for the people, who believe in Me by reporting them so that they all be one, even as thou, Father, art in me and I in thee, that they also be one in us, that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. ") This prayer later became the basis of ecumenism movement that began in the early 20th century.
